In this episode Greg and George look at the two pool (aka billards) games that came out for the SNES -- Championship Pool and Side Pocket! Although these games have a lot in common with the presentation of the pool table, great jazz music soundtracks, and one and two player game modes, there is also a lot unique in each one. We discuss the games and what is different about each one of them and compare and contrast them. The next episode of the podcast will be released on Dec 13th! In this episode Greg and George look at one of the early games in the Fire Emblem franchise! The third game in the series was released in Japan as Fire Emblem - Monshou no Nazo, and it's divided into two books -- book one is mostly a remake of the original Fire Emblem game and book two is a direct sequel. None of the Fire Emblem games were released in the west until the GBA, but this game was translated years ago. We discuss this game and the history of the franchise, how it plays compared to other Fire Emblem games, and if it's worth playing today.
