In this episode Greg and George look at an obscure and unique RPG with strategic battles by Koei -- Inindo: Way of the Ninja! Part of the long running Nobunaga's Ambition franchise, this game uses some alternative history where Nobunaga did not die in 1582 but instead continued his campaign to conquer all of Japan. You play a young ninja whose clan was destroyed by Nobunaga, and you must train up and gather experience and learn your ninja arts, then use diplomacy to get other rulers to attack and weaken Nobunaga so you can storm his castle to get your revenge! We discuss what makes this game unique and all the many aspects of it's gameplay, why the game is so difficult, and how it holds up today.
